Fall at the farm

Flowers, pumpkins, full apple tree, harvesting potatoes in the patch.

Cleaned up branches on old apple tree.  It probably should be taken down.  The honey crisp trees are loaded.

Spring 2016

Was a typical year.  It rained a lot and it was hard to get the crops in.  The potatoes have started to come up and a lot of the garden is also up.  We also had our maintenance issues.  A bearing went out in the riding lawn mower, several things wouldn't start and the well went out.  At this point the old well pipe has been pulled and we are awaiting the arrival of someone to dig up the area near the well, make some changes to bring it up to code and replace the pump.  It's nice to have 4 people sharing the cost.

New Barn Roof

Amos and his crew completed the barn roof on Wednesday, April 20th.  Pictures should explain how well it went.
